Why Your Wedding is not The Best Day of Your Life
Weddings are wonderful. They truly are. It is a rare occasion that brings two families together in celebration. This day is a right of passage and it’s tradition to mark your commitment with beautiful food, good conversation and a party. When it comes down to it though, we have to remember one thing. A wedding day should be about celebrating the beginning of a marriage. After all, a wedding day is the first day in a lifetime of many firsts. The first day in a succession of good days, bad days and all the days in between. That’s why your wedding is not the best day of your life. In our opinion, your marriage will be the catalyst to many “best days” that are yet to come. And that, my friends, is worth celebrating.
Vanessa and Colin’s Beautiful and Intimate River Cafe Wedding in Calgary
Vanessa and Colin have such a deep an meaningful connection. You can see it in the way Colin looks at her, the way they hold hands. It is obvious that the foundation of their marriage is rooted in friendship, the lifelong and lasting kind. A connection like this is so strong you feel it when they walk into the room. Vanessa and Colin’s intimate Calgary River Cafe wedding was definitely one of our favourites, they whole celebration was so uniquely “them”. We had a chance to ask Vanessa and Colin and little about their wedding day and what made it special and unique.
Felicia and Kyle’s Kicking Horse Resort Mountain Top Wedding
Can you think of anything more romantic than marrying your love at the top of the world? Nah, neither can we. That’s why this Kicking Horse Resort mountain top wedding was so spectacular. It really did feel like the whole world was unfolding before us. Especially when the sunset gave us a performance like the one we witnessed on Felicia and Kyle’s wedding day.
It was such a pleasure to witness two families coming together to celebrate their marriage. People travelled from near and far to be there. When we think about it, that’s what a wedding day is all about. Having your closest friends and family together in one place. How often does that actually happen? That’s why wedding days are so special. They are about family and relationships. They’re about emotion and memories. Wedding days are about re-telling family stories while making new ones. That’s pretty special. That’s something truly worth celebrating.
