Nancy and Wallace’s Glamorous Downtown Calgary Wedding at The Westin Hotel
Cultural weddings have got to be our favourite. I love the traditions, the heartfelt moments shared with family and all the colour. So much glorious colour! My favourite thing to witness are the little moments that unfold as the day progresses. The way the bride and groom bow to their parents during the tea ceremony in reverence. The love in mom’s eyes as the red dress goes on in the morning. The games, the laughter and the happy tears that follow.
Ellen & Scott’s Meadow Muse Pavilion Wedding
A giant inflatable pink flamingo.
We’re pretty sure that was the inspiration for Ellen and Scott’s super sweet post-elopement celebration. These two chose to keep things simple and we’ve gotta say, it’s the way to go folks. Gather your friends and family, throw and epic party, enjoy great food and the rest will follow. Weddings don’t have to be overly complicated. They just need great connection, raw emotion and apparently, a giant-oversized inflatable pink flamingo.
Liz & Mike’s Calgary Festival Hall Wedding
When we first connected with Liz & Mike, things just clicked. It truly felt like these two were our BFFs from another lifetime. They were so easy going and in love; we knew their wedding would truly reflect that. They chose to gather their family and friends for a family style meal under a ceiling of cafe lights. The vibe of their wedding was intimate and relaxed and so full of love.
