Edmonton Winter Wedding
Addison & Greg’s Edmonton Winter Wedding
After a sudden mid October snowfall, this fall wedding quickly turned into the most gorgeous Edmonton winter wedding. Looking back at these photos I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It’s rare to have snow falling as leaves are still on the trees. When that happens, we secretly jump up and down with joy. I can’t think of a more romantic backdrop. The fresh snowfall meant that the trees were covered with freshly fallen snow. The weather was perfect for a light jacket so, outdoor photos were a cinch. It’s the kind of day a Calgary wedding photographer hopes and dreams for.
We love making the trip up for Edmonton winter weddings. The river valley is spectacular and the wedding venues are to die for. We love exploring downtown Edmonton and seeing what nature has to offer. For Addie and Greg’s Edmonton winter wedding portraits, we hung out in the gardens of the Muttart conservatory. It was the perfect backdrop. The snowfall and sudden colder temperatures meant that we had almost the whole property to ourselves.
Addie and Greg, thank you for having us along for your wedding day. Your warm smiles and natural connection made photographing you so much fun. We are so thankful you and your wedding party were up for pretty much anything. Thank you for braving the chilly weather! Your wedding was so full of love, laughter and an overwhelming feeling of together-ness. Spending time with you and your loved ones was an absolute pleasure. So many beautiful moments unfolded in front of us. It was hard to keep up! Can you guys get married again so we can do it all over???
The biggest congratulations to you, from your Calgary wedding photographers xoxoxo
