Calgary Garden Wedding:  Jen and Smitty are married

The world is a small place.  Jen contacted us last fall by email after having been referred to us by a friend.  The moment I read her email, my jaw dropped.  The email was from Jen Coyne … I know that name. The funny thing is, I had no idea Jen was living in Calgary – we both grew up in Ontario and for a few seasons, played competitive soccer together.  I hadn’t seen her in ages.  When we met up with them at the Wildrose Brewery for drinks to discuss their wedding, she recognized me right away and it was as if no time had passed at all.  Like, I said, its a small world.

An amazing time was had at Jen and Smitty’s Calgary garden wedding.  Held at the Glendale Community Association this day was packed full of goodies for guests, friends and family.  Their white tent ceremony was heartfelt and filled with laughter and smiles (and only a few tears) followed by lawn games (super sized Jenga!!!), snacks from Sticky Ricky’s Food Truck, delicious wine from Calgary’s own Vine Arts (check these guys out!!) and delicous food at their Reception.

From the moment we met you two, we knew we’d hit it off.  Photographing your wedding was so awesome – we’re so thankful to work with folks like you – you kept us smiling all day long.
