There isn’t a sweeter couple out there. Allie and Kevin make an amazing team. Allie is probably the cutest librarian in the history of the profession and Kevin is a Fireman. They are dog-parents to the cutest pup ever (her name is Shoelace) and they just finished renovating a house together, beautifully I might add. They really are perfect for each other, best friends, a great match and they were pretty amazing as bride and groom on their Heritage Park wedding day. Just check out these photos, I mean seriously.

Their Heritage Park wedding happened to take place right around the same time British Columbia was experiencing summer forest fires. Which, for some was a bit bothersome, but for these photographs was rather fortuitous. There was kind of a romantic quality in the air on their Heritage Park wedding day. Not only was it a romantic union, but there was just something in the air that day. Lots of laughs, with Allie’s car battery dying right after their first reveal (Andrew had to boost their car), sweet moments between family members and an epic party.  We have to mention the impeccable co-ordination by the ladies at Reflections Weddings and Events who pulled of an overall flawless day for an awesome couple.

Xoxoxo

A little back story behind Marlena and Ryan’s Canmore winter engagement session…

Ryan first laid eyes on Marlena the first day she moved into his apartment building. It was her first day in Calgary and she was struggling to open her mailbox. Ryan was smitten. I truly believe that the universe conspires to bring important people and events into our lives. I absolutely believe that this is what happened for Marlena and Ryan.

When you’ve found your life’s greatest love, anything is possible.

We’re so happy to have met these two and I love their Canmore winter engagement session.

When we arrived in Canmore the morning of Jessica and Andrew’s wedding, it was a warm November day in the Canadian Rockies. This was good for some reasons and not so good for others. The sun was shining. For November in Alberta, this is amazing. However, the landscape was entirely brown. Every shade of brown there is. Yuck.

By the time Jessica walked down the aisle the snow was softly falling in the mountains. The kind of snow that floats slowly and rests gently in the trees. It covered everything beautifully until the sounds of the world around us quieted. It almost felt magical. This winter wedding in Canmore was a favourite from 2015 for sure.
