If you’re a pet owner, you know as well as anyone that your fur children are just as much part of the family as your human counterparts. We agree! For the big moments in your life, it’s always nice to include your pet in the pictures. That’s why we’ve put together a few tips for including pets in your wedding and engagement photos.
Addison & Greg’s Edmonton Winter Wedding
After a sudden mid October snowfall, Addie and Greg’s fall wedding quickly turned into the most gorgeous Edmonton winter wedding. Looking back at these photos I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It’s rare to have snow falling as leaves are still on the trees. When that happens, we secretly jump up and down with joy. I can’t think of a more romantic backdrop. The fresh snowfall meant that all the trees were covered with that perfect fluffy snow. The weather was perfect for a light jacket so, outdoor photos were a cinch. It’s the kind of day a wedding photographer hopes and dreams for.
Nancy and Wallace’s Peyto Lake Engagement Session
When you have the Canadian Rocky Mountains in your backyard, it’s hard to stay away. This Peyto Lake engagement session is hard proof. This location is tucked away from the coach tour-busses and point-and-shoot wielding tourists. A quick hike into the wood and you disappear into another universe. One where rock faces and emerald waters beckon to you from on high and down below. Where the only sounds are the winds whipping through the mountain ranges and little squeals of delight from those fortunate enough to stumble across the magic.
