Heritage Park Wedding
Brandy-Lee and Jordan’s Calgary Heritage Park Wedding
Calgary has some of the most beautiful wedding venues and Heritage Park just happens to be one of our favorites. From the moment we met Brandy-Lee and Jordan in our downtown studio to chat about their Heritage Park wedding, we it was going to be one of the highlights of our 2014 season. An early evening ceremony. A Ferris Wheel ride at cocktail hour. A dessert table packed with 6 flavors from Calgary’s own Jelly Modern Doughnuts … and the most packed dance floor we’ve seen all year. Yes, this wedding was right up our alley.
From the moment we joined them at the hotel in the morning to when we had to drag ourselves off a dance floor around midnight, this Heritage Park wedding was full to the brim with amazing moments, big smiles, and yes, a few happy tears. With close friends and family to celebrate, Brandy-Lee and Jordan were married on the lawn of The Prince House at Heritage Park. The ceremony started in the early evening when the light was most beautiful and carried on to a cocktail reception on the midway. Guests enjoyed a few light snacks and rid on the the Ferris Wheel before the reception. The large dining room at the Wainwright hotel boasted high ceilings, wooden beams and lots of space for dancing the night away. Did we mention the doughnuts? Yeah, I think we mentioned the doughnuts already.
